Aleutians

The on-screen flight information screen informs me that we're flying

over the tail end of the Aleutians. Hello, Alaska. Hello, Bering Sea.

If the International Date Line didn't jog way east here to keep these
islands with Alaska with the rest of the US, it would be tomorrow
already. But it's still today. Phew.
